This lovely rare vintage embroidered swimsuit is made of "Zephyr Wool" - type of waterproof wool. This on comes from Franklin Sweater Mills in Philadelphia. It is in well loved condition, perfect for eclectic decor.
It's a light lavender in color and has green and darker purple flowers embroidered on it- very rare for a swimsuit of this era. We put it on a dark purple acid free backing in a shadow box with aluminum frame, and the mat is a lighter purple color accenting the color of the suit.

Its hard to see in the photo but the mat is around the outside edge of the frame, and floats. The pictures don't do it justice! Its ready to hang, and measures 20" x 32 x 1 1/8". Front is glass.

CONDITION: Excellent as frame is new, bathing suit is in poor condition, best to be looked at but not touched. I know all the pictures came out different colors, but the piano shot is the closest, its a warm dusty color.

Also the extra photo of the three suits is a suggestion for displaying these old suits.
